This position is accountable for all aspects of operations including strategic reesponsibilities as Capital Expenditure planning and execution for the Plant to ensure long term growth, continous improvement, and delivery commitments.
Responsibilities
-Adheres to and secures a Safe Workplace for employees at the location. Demonstrating a personal commitment and leading by example.
-Ensure all Quality processes are enforced and improved to produce zero defects as well as maintain and/or achieve all appropriate Quality certifications such as IATF and ISO.
-Manages production, customer quality, distribution and on time delivery of customer orders in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by the Company.
-Develops plans for efficient use of human resources, materials and machines within the Plant.
-Plans, develops and recommends budgetary requirements for the Plant.
-Follows approved operating budget and ensures that all predefined financial targets are met or exceeded by the Plant.
-Develops clear targets for the Plant functional managers and uses the KA processes to execute.
-Facilitates waste elimination (Lean Manufacturing) and variability reduction efforts through the appropriate problem-solving methodology.
-Embraces the Learning Organization and empowers employees to continually learn and develop themselves both personally and professionally.
-Adheres to KA processes and procedures.
-Performs other duties as either assigned or needed.
Requirements
You have BSc degree in engineering or similar with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Plant Manager role or 4-6 years as Production Manager preferably within an Automotive or Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing facitlity. You have functional experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Quality processes, and Manufacturing Engineering as well as an good understanding of analysing finacial data. Experience in PSW, APQP, and PPAP execution is preferred. You have knowledge and experience in ISO and IATF standard and system and having experience from working in a Matrix and Global multi facilitiy organization is a plus.You possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and you have a personal drive and confidence to motivate and lead your teams to meet plant objectives and strategies. You have a high degree of personal integrity and the ability to think clearly and react effectively under pressure. Fluent in English and Swedish, both oral and written, is a requirement.
